The Holidays are Here!

As we're all recovering from that extra piece of pumpkin pie we knew we shouldn't have eaten, Christmas is creeping up on us. Don't be caught off guard this year! There's still plenty of time to order your holiday greeting or photo cards and still have them arrive right on time. Or, if you want to play it safe, order our Snowflake photo card which has an optional "Happy New Year" message. It will give you a few days to recover from the holiday rush and get your cards out after the madness. Head over to our Etsy store to place your order. Buy for Life - World Vision Gifts

For a few years now, I've made an effort to buy at least one gift during the holidays through the World Vision Gift Catalog. Last year I bought my father-in-law two chickens. He laughed until the New Year, but really loved that someone in need was able to receive a gift in his name. The past few months, the Paper Mango Buy for Life Project has donated 10% of the total amount of our sales to the Buy Shoes Save Lives organization. I love this organization and what they do for kids in Iraq, but when I got my annual World Vision Gift Catalog in the mail this week I thought it would be great to donate towards their cause during the Holiday season. I'm committed to using Paper Mango not only as an outlet for creative design and great products but as a means to give back and make the world a sweeter place. Buy for Life Project Update

In just a month and a half's time the contribution has more than doubled for the Buy 4 Life project! A quick refresher for those of you who may be new here, Buy 4 Life is our effort to financially support and create awareness about organizations that are doing huge things to make our world a sweeter place. To that end, 10% of all of our sales are automatically set aside for B4L. Since the last update we have raised almost $80.00 for our current B4L organization Buy Shoes::Save Lives!! I couldn't have imagined that in just this short time we'd be able to contribute this much to this great cause. Thanks so much for buying for life!

Buy for Life Project Update

I'm excited to share for the first time ever the fund raising report for the Buy 4 Life project! If you're not familiar with this project read all about it here. Since Paper Mango's official launch just over a month ago we have raised over $30.00 for our current B4L organization Buy Shoes::Save Lives!! Ok, so I know $30.00 isn't going to save the world, but it's such a great start that couldn't have happened without all of your Paper Mango purchases! Thanks so much for buying for life!

The Buy for Life Project

If you've been over to our Etsy Store you've hopefully read a bit about our "Buy for Life" project. We really believe that everyone has a part to play in making the world a sweeter place and we're dedicated to fulfilling our roll in that mission. We do that in part by using eco-friendly papers, inks and other materials whenever possible in our products. As improvements in products and availability of products continue to grow we plan to increase our use of "green" materials. In addition, we do our best to work with local printers and merchants to cut down on the carbon emissions produced when things are shipped long distances.

And while we love being eco-chic, we're really excited about our Buy for Life Project. There are so many great organizations doing incredible things around the globe making life sweeter for those they come into contact with. We want to help create awareness about these organizations in addition to financially supporting the work they're doing. To this end, we donate 10% of every purchase to our featured organization. If you spend $50.00 we give $5. If you spend $200.00 we give $20.00! So, when you buy from Paper Mango you don't just buy originally designed paper goods, you buy for life. So get spending!
