Notes & Neighbors - Dad!

This weekend we'll all be gathering around to celebrate Dad. The one who coached our soccer teams, helped us with math homework and forced us to learn to drive a stick shift car "just in case". If you don't get a chance to be with your dad make sure to get a little note in the mail and let him know how much you appreciate all of those life lessons.

Happy Writing!

I just wanted to write a quick reminder that Father's Day is a little less than two weeks away! There are some great Father's Day cards to be found in the Paper Mango store and there's still plenty of time left to have them shipped to you then shipped to Dad. Check out our sweet cards here and make sure to tell a friend. Thanks!

Missing Out Of Action

(picture from scarlettinthebelljar.blogspot.com)

Yeah, I've been a bit M.O.O.A. the past few days. My excuses are: sick dog, company staying at my house, holiday weekend, my twenty-cough, cough birthday, and fulfilling lots of time intensive orders. Please accept my apologies. The good news is, I'm getting back into the swing of things! And along with that comes some new Father's Day cards (look for them tomorrow), an addicting new band for Friday's installment of "Music to Create To", some tasty new non-card products (that I'm super pumped about) and (drum roll please) putting the finishing touches on my new blog home! That's right, the Paper Mango blog will be moving in a few short weeks (I hope, but you know how these things can drag on). It's the number one priority on my list of things that aren't client related. So stay tuned!

Father's Day Cards Debut // Round One

("The List" :: re-imagined for Dad)

With Mother's Day (barely) behind us it's time to gear up for Dad's day! So today I'm introducing the first two Paper Mango Father's Day card designs for 2009. The first card may look familiar to those of you who have been reading for a while. "The List" card was by far our most popular Mother's Day card so it's been given a masculine makeover and is now here for Father's Day! You can snag yours in your choice of three color schemes here.

Also available in the Etsy shop is this cheeky little "Obligatory Tie" card. It's cliche for a reason. Dad's are hard to shop for. We can't afford the golf club they want and they don't get excited about a new spatula like mom. So we default to the Tie. This card pokes fun at this cultural quirk on the outside while wishing Dad a Happy Father's Day on the inside. Card comes in three color choices featuring patterns from Pixels and Ice Cream and is available to purchase here.
ps - The "Notes & Neighbors series will return next week. I've gotten a bit behind recently and have some deadlines quickly creeping up on me. eeek!
